March 10th, 2020
Take in the views of our nation’s monuments and beautiful scenic vistas as you race down Independence Avenue as part of the St. Pat’s Run Fest 5K and 10K! The race includes two different start times, allowing you to take both in both races if you’d like. The event is a longstanding D.C. tradition. The course is flat and fast, so if you’re just getting started running, the 5K is a perfect chance to get out there and have some fun. Runners often get dressed up for St. Patrick’s Day, creating a sea of green along Independence and Ohio drives.
The event will take place Sunday, March 15 at the Washington Monument. The 5K starts at 8:15 a.m. and the 10K starts on 9 a.m. Registration is $53 for the 10K and $58 for the 10K — or $68 for both. The race is now part of a two-day running event, the St. Pat’s Run Fest, which includes the Arlington Four Courts Four Miler on March 14. If you’re feeling really courageous, you can take part in all three races. Finishers of two or three of the weekend’s races will receive a challenge medal.
